HSE Compliant Emergency Paediatric First Aid 1 Day Course (CPD)

This one day course delivered by Skill Base will cover the following:

• Emergency Actions
• Child, Baby & Adult Basic Life Support (CPR)
• Child, Baby & Adult Choking
• How to use a defib (AED)
• Asthma & Inhalers
• Anaphylaxis
• Unconsciousness & Recovery Position
• Seizures & Fitting
• Bleeding, Burns and Fractures
• Fainting
• First Aider Responsibilities
• Each delegate will get a certificate valid for three years.

This course is a fun and interactive workshop, with lots of time for practice and question. There are no formal tests.

Schedule:
The course commences at 08:30 and will finish at 15:30 at the latest, and we would recommend arriving no more than 10 minutes before the start of the course.

Please arrive from 8:30am and report to reception, the course will start at 9am. There is free onsite parking available.

What to wear:

We advise that delegates dress comfortably and casually due to the practical nature of the course - most delegates find wearing trousers is more practical than skirts. The wearing of lipstick is not advised.
