St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Multi-Academy Trust: Safeguarding for the Local Governing Body

This session will provide you with an overview of statutory safeguarding responsibilities for all school staff, based on Keeping children safe in Education 2020. In addition, it will cover the role and responsibilities of the local governing body, particularly the nominated safeguarding governor. There will be opportunities for governors to ask questions, and you will receive resources which will be helpful for your role as governor.
