Preventing and responding to young people displaying harmful sexual behaviour (Part 2) - The Lucy Faithfull Foundation (CPD)
With the recent changes announced by Ofsted on how they will assess how schools and colleges confront sexual harassment, abuse and violence among children and young people, we're delighted to deliver in partnership with The Lucy Faithfull Foundation this 2x half day sessions.
During the sessions delegates will cover the following:
- Context setting: prevalence, desistance, and key considerations
- To increase awareness of young people’s use of technology
- To explore the differences between appropriate, inappropriate, problematic and harmful sexual behaviour in young people, both on and offline
- To increase participants’ confidence in talking to young people about sex, consent, pornography, and concerning sexual behaviour
- To explore how best to respond to concerns
- To consider prevention and how best to promote a safeguarding culture: key messages; support structures; services; processes
