Making sure that Primary Science is practical and outside - with Sarah Eames (CPD)

In this session we will have time to discuss what is working well in your schools and sharing good practice. We will go through the demands of the working scientifically strand and how to ensure that children have the opportunities to develop their independent skills whilst working as a group. There is an increasing interest in taking science outside and we will look at resources and activities that can support you to do this.

As this is a n outdoor session please bring:

A warm/ waterproof coat

Shoes that you can dig in

Lots of enthusiasm!

Parking: is available either the church car park, neighbouring streets or school car park (please tell reception your registration number as it will probably be double-parked).  

Sarah will set up a padlet for us to share their favourite outdoor science lesson/ resource or top tip.

Cost: Free to members and St Thoma Aquinas CMAT schools, £25 per delegate non-member schools.
