Primary Maths Network (CPD)

Vicki Giffard, a former teacher, Maths Lead, ITT tutor and Local Authority consultant is now an independent Maths adviser. Vicki facilitates on the PD Lead programme for the NCETM and provides a range of high-quality PD opportunities through the local Mathshubs and teaching schools. She is also an active participant of the Maths Associations through the Primary Working Group and is a member of the Early Childhood Maths Group

AIMS OF THE NETWORK:

· To provide updates on recent national and international developments in mathematics education

· To discuss the National Curriculum for Mathematics and consider implications for schools

· To facilitate co-operation, mutual support and sharing of ideas

· To help develop competent and confident leaders.
